Echoes of Cosmos

What is the cosmos?

Infinite space and time constitute the cosmos.

In this enormous world. Who am I? Where am I from? Where am I heading?

All living creatures are spiritual and seraphic, intelligent and marvelous. Meanwhile, despite all these, it’s always difficult to tell the origin of our own, what do we look like? We keep on searching for the answers our whole life, just like a wild gull seeking shelter on the sea.

The cosmos moves in an endless cycle, all the spirits advancing with the passage of time. The static is relative. There is nothing permanent except change.

The echoes of the cosmos are the response we can obtain while having conversations with it. Meanwhile, we probably hear the inner voice through the exchange.

Exactly as demonstrated by this exhibition, art, aesthetics, nature, philosophy: all the feelings experienced by these artists, and the ultimate secrets hiding inside their works, remain to be discovered.

Introduction of designers and works

Laura Forte

Laura Forte, Jewellery designer from Copertino, Italy ,member of DBC International designer space. She moved to Bassano del Grappa, studies at IRIGEM, a gemological research institute. After graduation she worked in an important goldsmith company in Vicenza. In 2005, she opened her jewellery and design studio. She has received various awards and her work is participated in Milan ARTISTAR JEWELS, Venice Design Week and various international galleries dealing with contemporary jewellery.

Her research focuses mainly between matter and emptiness. Her works are in fact conceived as void spaces to be filled. Space is intended as a communicative vehicle, as a factor capable of generating an aesthetic, as well as the materialization of a timeless time. She considers the emptiness as necessary as the silence to activate that part of us that has easier access to fantasy, intuition, overall vision, lateral thinking.

Agustina Ros

Agustina Ros is an artist from Misiones, Argentina, currently she opened her own studio in Barcelona, Spain. She seeks to combine, through glass, the sensitivity of art and the resolution of design. Her jewellery is crafted with borosilicate glass, modelled and blown by the technique of flame working. Some pieces are worked with fine metal fuming (gold and silver), and carved and polished, which generates a faceted surface, looking for light reflection.

For a constant exploration, she collaborates with other artists and designers while she gives lessons of glass-blowing techniques at her own Studio in Barcelona with the intention to generate glass culture and spread it to the artistic and fashion scene. Participated many times in major international jewellery week in New York, Milan, Athens, etc. Winner piece of 2017 ENJOIA'T AWARDS.

I believe that our heart chooses the world we see. This serie of works aims to create a space for self-meditation, in this world full of "gaze" and "attention”. Through the reflection of the double mirrors, the reflected image overlaps with the inner space, and the viewer sees their own gaze.
