This workshop attracted more than 40 guests from multiple brands, including fashion ,media industry leaders as well as several startups. The speaker, Linda Yao, started with how social media changed the way Chinese people communicate with each other, and discussed the influence of Internet celebrity and KOLs on marketing strategy. 
In the era of new media, everyone is producing content, as well as reading it. This bilateral communication model strengthens social connection, and further tightens groups with similar interests. The opportunity provided by social media for precise marketing is almost unattainable for traditional media. 
 

Afterwards, Linda introduced Robin8’s NLP search engine, explaining how the search engine collects and analyzes the data more than 30 million internet celebrities, while showing the information visually to its clients. After Linda’s speech, Elsa, the business director of Robin8, answers questions from several brands, including those regarding how to work with new media.
