On the morning of May 13, a delegation from Shanghai Changning District, led by Bai Xueru, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changning District Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, visited the District 1 Government (Quartiere 1) of Florence. Accompanied by representatives of the Sino-Italian Design Exchange Center, the delegation held a cordial meeting with Mirco Rufilli, President of District 1. The delegation members included: Hou Jiaping, Deputy Director of the Organization Department of the CPC Changning District Committee; Guo Hai, Director of the Changning District Planning and Natural Resources Bureau; Lin Ziyue, Director of the Changning District Housing Security and Administration Bureau; Xu Shanshan, Director of the Changning District State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission; and Bian Xiaoqing, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xinjing Town. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on shared areas of interest, including the preservation of historical districts, urban renewal, and refined community governance. Following the meeting, commemorative gifts highlighting their respective local cultural heritages were exchanged. Both parties expressed their mutual wishes for an enduring friendship between Shanghai Changning and Florence, and pledged to work together to create more opportunities for reciprocal cooperation and win-win development.
