On October 30, 2024, a delegation of Shanghai government and business representatives visited the Sino-Italian Design Exchange Center’s Florence base, operated by DoBe Group. The delegation included Zhou Haidong, Deputy Director General and Party Committee Member of the Shanghai Lujiazui Financial City Authority; Sun Jiaying, Deputy General Manager of the Shanghai Pudong Development Group; and Wu Jianfeng, Director of the Economic Development Department at the Shanghai Lujiazui Financial City Authority.

Deputy Director General Zhou Haidong highlighted that Shanghai’s Lujiazui Financial City, as a forefront zone of China’s financial reform and opening up, has achieved outstanding results in the fields of financial technology and investment services. He warmly welcomed Italian enterprises to invest and develop in Lujiazui, jointly exploring new opportunities in innovative technology and international business. Zhou also emphasized that Lujiazui Financial City will actively support Chinese enterprises entering the Italian market, fostering further economic and cultural exchange between the two regions. He expressed hope that this visit would deepen the cooperation bridge, leading to mutual benefits in finance, technology, and cross-border collaboration.

Corrado Galli, CEO of the Sino-Italian Design Exchange Center, reflected on the center’s founding journey and its vital role in fostering exchanges and cooperation between China and Italy, particularly as a bridge in design innovation, cultural creativity, and cross-border business collaboration.
