China Textile City Group visits SIDECTime:2024-10-12
On September 19, 2024, Pan Jianhua, Party Secretary and Chairman of Zhejiang China Textile City Group Co., Ltd., led a delegation to visited the Palazzo Borghese, where the Sino-Italian Design Exchange Center office is located. The purpose of this visit was to promote deep cooperation between China's textile industry and the Italian design community and to foster cultural and economic integration between the two countries. Mr. Corrado Galli, CEO of the Sino-Italian Design Exchange Center, warmly welcomed the delegation.

The delegation included Lu Lushu, Chairman of Shaoxing Keqiao District Development and Operation Group Co., Ltd.; Zhu Jiandong, General Manager of the Dongsheng Road Branch of Zhejiang China Textile City Group Co., Ltd.; Meng Weidong, Deputy General Manager of the East Market Branch of Zhejiang China Textile City Group Co., Ltd.; Wang Huajun, General Manager of the China Textile City Greige Cloth Market Co., Ltd.; Zhao Zhenqi, Head of the Milan Branch of Zhejiang China Textile City Group Co., Ltd.; and Qing Ruxin, Director of the Arts and Culture Department of the Italy-China International Cultural Foundation, among others.

In his speech, Secretary Pan Jianhua stated that Zhejiang China Textile City Group, as a key player in the textile industry both in China and globally, has long played an important role in the development of the textile sector. Secretary Pan specifically emphasized that through collaboration with Italian designers and businesses, Zhejiang China Textile City Group will further promote product innovation, industrial upgrading, and expansion into international markets.
In his remarks, Mr. Galli reviewed the founding history and achievements of the Sino-Italian Design Exchange Center, especially its role as a bridge in fashion design, cultural creativity, and transnational business cooperation. He stated that the center would fully support the collaboration between Zhejiang China Textile City Group and Italy in textile design and innovation, helping both sides achieve closer cooperation.
During the meeting, the two sides had in-depth discussions on textile design, fashion brand building, and the future development of the textile industry. They also expressed a strong desire to strengthen cooperation in the textile industry and cultural creativity in the future. This visit opened a new chapter in the collaboration between Zhejiang China Textile City Group and the Italian design community, with both sides looking forward to fruitful results through further cooperation.
