On September 13, 2024, a delegation from the Sichuan Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Department visited the Sino-Italian Design Exchange Center —— Florence base, which is operated by DoBe Group, for an in-depth inspection and exchange. The center's CEO, Mr. Corrado Galli, warmly welcomed the Sichuan delegation and provided a detailed introduction to the center's background and development.

Attendees of the meeting included Mr. Liu Xiaobo, Deputy Director of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and Mr. Li Zhen, Director of the Vocational Capacity Development Office of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, among other officials.

Deputy Director Liu Xiaobo gave a detailed overview of the current situation and development plans in the field of human resources and social security in Sichuan Province. He pointed out that, as an important province in the western region of China, Sichuan has made significant progress in recent years in human resource development, skills training, and the construction of social security systems. Mr. Liu emphasized that Sichuan hopes to use this visit to deepen cooperation with Italy in areas such as vocational education, skills training, and human resource management. Sichuan aims to introduce advanced international experiences and resources, further enhancing the province's talent development and social security system within the global context. He stressed that the cooperation would bring more opportunities for talent development and economic transformation in Sichuan, achieving mutual benefits for both sides.

Director Li Zhen stated that this visit is not only an opportunity for in-depth exchanges but also an important occasion to explore new models of cooperation in the field of vocational capacity building. He emphasized that Sichuan Province places great importance on introducing advanced international experiences, particularly in skills training and human resource development. Through cooperation with the Italian side, they hope to further enhance vocational capacity building in Sichuan and cultivate more highly skilled talent with a global perspective.

Mr. Galli gave a detailed introduction to the history and recent achievements of the Sino-Italian Design Exchange Center. He specifically mentioned that Italian President Sergio Mattarella would visit China in early November, and he hoped this high-level visit would further promote exchanges and cooperation between China and Italy in various fields. He noted that the visit of the Sichuan delegation creates more opportunities for cooperation between the two sides in areas such as vocational education, skills training, and the cultural industry.

During the meeting, both parties reached a consensus on cooperation, with a commitment to strengthening future exchanges and collaboration. The Sino-Italian Design Exchange Center's Florence base will play a key role in fostering collaboration between China and Italy in human resource development, vocational education, and the cultural and creative industries. This collaboration will facilitate deeper cooperation between Sichuan Province and Florence across multiple sectors, fostering resource connections and mutually beneficial development.
