On June 22nd,"Luce dello spazio e del tempo" jewelry design online exhibition organized by the DoBe Group, Sino-Italian Design Exchange Center and ASSOCIAZIONE SI GIOVANI ARTISTI（ASGA） in conjunction with ExtreMida.

THE SHAPE OF CONSTANT EVOLUTION

This is how the ExtreMida Jewels is born, from the meeting of two people to the fusion of their passion: jewellery.

A new contemporary vision but always linked to the historical background of the territory of Florence cradle of art and goldsmithery.

In 2010 the creators of the brand, Flavio and Debora met for the first time and in addition to joining their lives sentimentally, they chose to make their greatest common passion, jewellery, their job.

Flavio was born as a goldsmith in the workshop of the florentine goldsmiths of Ponte Vecchio. Debora has a past as a graphic designer and designer. This is their secret, the mix gave Life to what they had always wanted.

In 2014, in the cradle of Renaissance art, in one of the most fascinating and culturally rich cities in the world, Florence, Flavio and Debora, they opened their studio and laboratory, giving life to what they had always dreamed of, in the heart of Florence, next to Piazza Pitti, a few steps from Ponte Vecchio, with everything it has always touched us. This place is a sort of magical room, where the eye using its scrolls can only pause to notice the details of their artistic works.

Flavio Agresti

Flavio Agresti was born in 1960 in Florence and graduated in 1976 in the goldsmith arts at the Art Institute of Porta Romana in Florence. He has always worked in the "Florentine workshops" as a goldsmith . The work place is One of the last on the Ponte Vecchio at Piergiacomo Tozzi Jewellery antique jewellery. After that, he then co-founded the brand studio with his wife, With superb craftsmanship and unique aesthetic taste to create a series of pursuit of quality-oriented attention to the original precious collection of products.He created high-end jewelry from the selection of the main stone, personalized design, pure hand-set, perfect wear, cost-effective, value-preserving, investment, collection, inheritance of the perfect fusion of multiple dimensions, to create high-end customers personalized, high-grade needs, its outstanding jewelry is widely praised.

Debora Di Giorgi Agresti

Debora Di Giorgi Agresti, born in Florence in 1966, She began her journey working in an interior design and design studio on the outskirts of Florence. Since about 1995 she has taken the path of ancient wooden restoration by opening her company. The experience lasted about 17 years. After meeting Flavio and her husband, she became passionate about her creations and together in 2014 they built the ExtreMida brand. Combining classical and modernity, she combines the sparks of the designer's aesthetic with the aesthetics of antique art into jewelry design, creating a unique and powerful work of personal characteristics.

STORIA DELLA EXTREMIDA

Extremida is a place where ideas oscillate between what exists and what we know and what the creativity and imagination of the artist give them. A true artisan workshop of Made in Italy for the processing and creation of nice jewellery produced solely by their hands.

They are the result of the independent artist who manages materials and stones, chosen directly by him.

Flavio and Debora are not only the designers of the jewels but also the direct producers of them, all without the aid of machinery. If a tool is missing, it is created by them on the spot as needed. Through their artistic expression and their unmistakable style, we can observe the message they want to give us.

In fact, their inspirations, often provided by nature, are reworked in their refined and never conventional style, creating very particular collections. Flavio and Debora tend to analyse and repeat with originality organic or geometric modules that we find in our reality, such as the ripples of the rocks for the "MEDITERRANEA" collection. Or the leaves and flowers made in "FLORA" collection in various solutions, or the movement of the waves, which can be admired in the last "WATER" collection. Nature also contributes to the "HIVE" collection, inspiring jewellery with a versatile and youthful appearance, where the bees themselves seem to have excavated and worked the metal. All this without ever forgetting the extreme importance of Italian fashion in jewellery and the activity of this artist, which in this case focuses on the memory of 70s fashion, which inspires its name, "MEMORIES70s".

Their pieces are capable of making the eye and the mind flies away, providing us with a magical world of micro-sculptures to wear elegant and unusual jewels, proposed in an innovative key from an aesthetic as well as their design and structural point of view. Pieces that appreciate and respect the tradition, but at the same time in continuous evolution, like the world around us.
